Before the Matrix, before Speed, and before Bill & Ted, Keanu Reeves broke onto the big screen playing a role close to his heart... A 80's heavy metal pothead, whose brightest days consisted of drinking a "sixer", smoking dope, & banging Clarissa... Don't you talk about Clarissa.

Inspired by a "true-story", River's Edge is an account of alienated teen youth that listen to SLAYER, smoke dope & kill their best friends.

You would be driven to murder too if:
1. Your deadbeat step-dad "Jim" is out at the bar everynight and all he ever does is fuck your Mom & eat all the food.
2. Your Mom wants you to buy an "egg" at 2am, and you already smoked all her finest dope.

What else are you going to do? If you don't kill someone, you'll end up on the front porch of a one-legged hippie trying to finger fuck his blow-up doll!
